So far, in the past week or so, this has been my (and our) progress:
◕ Set up catfood & beds on porch, nastiest cats banned from home!
◕ Keeping kitchen counters, sink, stove and microwave cleaned daily!
◕ Bathroom floors cleaned
◕ He cleared most of the junk off the porch
◕ Sorted a lot of paperwork - still more to come!
◕ SEVERAL loads of laundry
◕ Picked up some trash and junk from bedroom
◕ Somewhat cleaned out fridge
◕ Cleaned/organized one shelf in pantry! lol
◕ Moved tomato plants to better located
◕ Pulled some weeds. A lot more to pull!!
◕ Cleaned Sugarglider cage
◕ Clean baby chick brooder 2-3 or more X daily =/
◕ Feed/water dogs, cats, chickens, rabbit, bird and sugarglider - daily, of course!
◕ Dishes - some. Have more to do by hand, dishwasher not working right.
◕ Cleaned bedding, made bed
◕ Cleared off/cleaned top of bedroom dresser
◕ DEEP cleaned plastic drawer cart thingie in bathroom, and organized it!
To do's - for tonight and tomorrow!
⇨ Clean fridge - completely - and organize it!
⇨ Clean panty & organize it
⇨ Clean ALL cupboards & drawers & organize them
⇨ Clean bathroom surfaces, toilet, tub/shower
⇨ Clean kitchen (surfaces, microwave, cupboard doors, sweep, etc)
⇨ Remove everything from sitting room, and CLEAN!
⇨ Organize my closet and dresser drawers
⇨ Dump run!
▼A lot more "to do's" be be done! lol This is just a short list for 1-2 days. ツ
(Note: "Sitting room" is a bedroom with a loveseat, it is an area I planned for reading and relaxing. I also keep my workout items in this room, in hopes of actually using them, once the room is finally clean!! lol I have my two dressers in this room - his is in the bedroom - and I use this room as my makeup room, dressing room, etc.. The biggest closet in the MH is in this room. So, it works for me. lol)

Introduction
Hey!! Welcome to my blog. This blog serves multiple purposes. For one, it will be a great way for me to track my progress, make "to do" plans, and "journal" about my plans and achievements. For two, perhaps others who are struggling with getting or keeping their home clean will find my blog, and will know they are not alone!
My fiance and I live together with our pets. The pets have not been helpful, to put it lightly. They have been rather destructive! We now only have one indoor cat and two indoor dogs. This is because the other cats and dogs (have taken in "drop offs" and strays over the years) are now outside pets. Loved and well taken care of, but "OUTSIDE". Why? I got tired of clean cat feces off my kitchen counter, sofa, all over the floor and out of the bathtub. And, cleaning cat urine off my stove, sofa, any plastic bag/article of clothing that is left sitting out, off the floor, out of the bathtub and out of any BOWL that is left out - got a little tiring, as well. So now, I imagine you can understand why I only keep the clean pets indoors now? lol
Now that I only have three indoor pets (other than 2 caged pets), I have been able to slowly get control back over my home! It's STILL a huge mess!! But, I am getting it under control, one small section at a time! I will get there, and it will be so worth it!!
No more cleaning something, walking away, and coming back to find dirty paw prints all over it less than 5 minutes later! Ok, well, my one indoor cat still does that. But, not as badly as they did when everyone was inside! lol
When my home is clean and organized, I am happier and better able to stay on routine in my life. When my home is chaotic, I am a MESS. I can't concentrate, I feel beyond out of control. So, having a tidy home is highly important to me.
We live in a run down mobile home, and it's pretty much falling apart. Rats have infested, mold problems, had to pull up carpetting leaving plywood floors, walls are rotting, safety issues due to the home shifting slightly off te blocks (after a landslide during a flood a few years ago) it's bad. But, we just have to deal with it, until we can replace the MH, which won't be anytime soon, finances are rough; For now, though, the focus is getting what we have clean and organized. It may be a shack, a shell of a home, but it can at least be a clean shack!!!! lol
